GTL Car Tools 1.0
-----------------
- Made by Lasse 'Nappe1' Karkkainen
- Released 3rd of September, 2009

Requirements:
- Microsoft .NET 2.0 Framework

Installation:
just extract to folder where you want
and start with GTLCarTools.exe

Introduction:
Purpose of this tool is de-activate and activate cars in
GTR2 and GTL and so make easier to use skins and add on cars.
Program supports GTL and GTR2 and additional install
of GTR2 for Power and GLory mod. Program is compatible with
Strava's Car Tool, so you can use both if you want. The tool
does not change anything in game menus, so you cannot make
new classes to the game. However, you can enable just the cars
in class which you want to race. (for example enabling only
original cars / skins is nice for the career mode, as otherwise you
get wayy too many cars per event.)

How it works:
When started first time, user must press Settings button and
setup the game paths accordingly. After that program remembers
the paths. The treeview shows the games and cars in them as
checkboxlist where you can select cars / skins which you want to
be visible in game. List works recursively so if you check TC-65
branch, ou get all cars and skins enabled underneath it. Tool also
supports Presets, so you can select cars and save the selections for
further use.

Program saves the preset to selected game TEAMS folder as
<presetname>.ctpreset, which is handy for addon server organizers
as you can upload it to web and all the joiners can then download it
and place it to TEAMS folder and activate correct set of cars for
the online races. IF car or skin in preset cannot be found, tool
warns user that he is missing certain cars in teams folder.

Modder information:
Program supports showing info documents in RTF format.

when making a skin, just use windows wordpad to make your info
document and save it as same name as the .CAR file, except
instead of ".CAR" use "_ctinfo.rtf". when making info file,
remember that the space showing them in CarTool isn't really big,
so remember check how it looks in program before zipping
the stuff for upload.

For bigger mods, like cars or multi car mods, use the folder name
where you are putting the mod and add "_ctinfo.rtf" to the end of
the RTF filename.
