Thanks Baule!
In the meantime I've actually found the issue with the C++ Runtime Error. It's basically just a 32-bit issue with rFactor. I turned down the texture detail and disabled any of the graphical fun stuff like AA and Filtering to keep the memory requests to a minimum. After doing that, I had 85+ cars loaded up and running. However, I did run into another issue, maybe it's just video card related. Some of the cars will load with weird polygons poking out of the cars. Some of these effected cars will end up looking like blowfish (the ones that will puff up with thorns). There will be a car or two not even load, so you're left with only a shadow floating around the circuit.
So far I've been able to reproduce this strange issue on the VLN Nurburgring circuits.
I'm using a pair of ATI Radeon 4670's with Crossfire.
